The CMG Consulta Founders are Malta-based experienced professionals who have a passion for working with businesses. We firmly believe that every business is unique and we treat each business individually, tailoring our approach to the business, the owners, the requirements and the goals. We embrace planning and forward thinking with goals in mind and we work to create a sensitivity to the risks involved in achieving these objectives. Our approach is holistic. We look at the overall organisation, its mission, its goals, its driving forces, its sales, marketing, customer relations, growth and people and we work with the business to create a well-rounded approach that is based on a plan covering the various areas of the organisation. We also believe in taking decisions based on data and research and on catering for the consequences of actions. Our experience has led us to value working with organisations, leaders, management teams and other staff to help them set strategy, plan, grow, develop, execute their plans and run their businesses.

Colin German, co-founder of CMG Consulta

Colin German

Colin German is a seasoned senior-level strategist with good leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.  Following over 20 years experience in business, management and C-Level positions, CMG Consulta was founded with the vision of bringing C-Level input and expertise to companies who typically would not employ their own CXOs.  Colin is driven by a strong commitment to clients where he firmly believes in exhibiting integrity and building trust as the foundation for all client relationships.

In his work with businesses, he is fascinated by the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation that businesses have built into them through their owners and managers yet he grounds that with the proper financials, people and processes in order to make the business a viable, self-sustaining operation.

Colin’s experience in building and growing teams and companies has helped him build a strategic mindset.  This, coupled with well-founded financial knowledge and a technical background enables the development of business strategies, structuring of businesses and growth of their opportunity areas.  This experience has been gained over multiple industries like technology, fintech, professional services and import and distribution.

Aside from the professional aspects of his life, Colin enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying nature, going on walks and catching up on a long reading list of books, articles and journals related to many different topics.

Chris Meli

Chris Meli is an experienced senior level strategist with leadership skills, shaped by a strong sense of foresight and practical problem-solving skills. Chris co-founded CMG Consulta following 20 years’ experience working in various industries including Professional Services, Financial Services, Gaming Industry and NGO.  His aim for establishing CMG Consulta is to bring C-Level input and expertise to companies.

Throughout his career, Chris has actively formed part of strategic teams, including teams responsible for driving transformational organisational changes. He developed a strong awareness and understanding of how the different areas of an organisation are dependent on each other in achieving the business’ goals. Chris’ approach to leadership is driven by an awareness that sound decision making in business is about striking the right balance between addressing immediate needs whilst also anticipating and addressing long-term goals.​

Organisational growth and change are therefore the result of careful planning in building the right financial, technological and talent capacity to grow. Chris is also intrigued by the role that work culture plays in successful businesses. Culture mobilises the values of an organisation into action.

Outside of work, Chris is a self-confessed news junkie, who enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen Liverpool supporter.
